The current Kaizen website is not a redesign.

It is a complete rebuild.

Instead of updating the existing site, we rebuilt the entire platform from the ground up. The goal was simple: improve performance, simplify the content system, and create a structure that will last for several years rather than needing constant patching.

Starting With the Foundations

Before working on design or content, the first step was rebuilding the technical foundation.

Websites often accumulate complexity over time. Plugins are added, hosting environments change, and performance gradually declines.

Rather than patching the old system, we replaced the underlying infrastructure entirely.

The new setup focuses on:

• faster hosting infrastructure
• improved security and firewall protection
• consistent HTTPS configuration
• better email deliverability

These changes are largely invisible to visitors, but they significantly affect how reliable and fast the website feels.

A Different Architecture

The previous site was built as a traditional static website.

The new version uses a headless structure.

In this setup, content is stored in a dedicated content management system while the website itself is delivered through a modern frontend framework.

This separation provides several advantages:

• faster page loading
• easier content publishing
• cleaner site structure
• greater flexibility for future features

For visitors the experience remains simple, but the underlying system is easier to maintain and expand.

Improvements to the Blog

The blog was also rebuilt as part of the new structure.

Previously, articles were difficult to organise and browse. The new system introduces:

• a clearer article layout
• topic tagging
• improved filtering and navigation
• consistent article formatting

These changes make it easier to explore content without needing to scroll through large lists of posts.

Connecting the Systems

A modern website relies on several supporting systems.

During the rebuild we also reviewed how these elements were configured.

The updated site includes:

• cleaner analytics tracking
• improved technical SEO configuration
• a consistent sitemap structure
• improved metadata for sharing content

These adjustments help ensure that the website performs reliably both for visitors and in search engines.

Looking Ahead

The main goal of this rebuild was to create a stable foundation.

When the technical structure of a website is clear and reliable, future improvements become much easier. New pages, tools and features can be added without needing to redesign the entire system again.

In many ways, the rebuild simply resets the starting point.

With the underlying architecture in place, the focus can now shift back to publishing useful content and improving the site over time.
